Performing the decoration, President of Global Alliance, Prof. Justin Green said the honour recognises numerous value Gov. Sani has brought to bear in the course of his service to the state which aligns with Global Alliance's principle of transformative leadership.

Represented by the President of African Public Relations Association (APRA), Arik Karani, Prof. Green expressed hope that Governor Sani's decoration will further drive visibility for the largest Forum of public relations professionals across the globe.

Themed, "Responsible Communication: The Voice of the World", over 126 countries who are members of Global Alliance are expected in Abuja for the week-long Forum.

Earlier, the President of NIPR, Dr. Ike Neliaku had conferred the Institute's Honorary Fellowship on the governor, an honour that gives him rights and privileges of highest membership category of the Institute.
