The President of Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management, Prof. Justin Green has lauded the contributions of Nigeria in the Africa's public relations space, describing it as inspirational.
Prof. Green, a Fellow of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) spoke in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates in November 2025 at the global unveiling of World Public Relations Forum (WPRF).
"I have been to several countries in Africa and each time you attend these PR events, you will assume you are in Nigeria because there are so many Nigerians present. Nigerians don't just attend an event, they take it over in a good and inspirational way", Prof. Green stated.
He expressed delight that the WPRF, which is the largest gathering of public relations professionals across the world is coming to Nigeria, noting that it will once again serve as an opportunity for Nigeria to leave a lasting mark in the public relations profession by hosting the biggest, brightest and boldest WPRF ever.
With the theme, "Responsible Communication, the Voice of the World", the one-week programme will hold in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital and other designated locations across the country from November 15th—21st, 2026.
Prof. Green also used the opportunity to highlight the need for inclusion of Responsible Communication in UN Charter as one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), describing it as a big task which Global Alliance will continue to champion.
